What are Nano Brows?

​

Nano Brows is another form of semi permanent cosmetic tattoo that mimics hair strokes to create hyper realistic eyebrows.  Nano strokes are created with a machine and this technique allows me to create pixilated hair strokes that have light and dark areas to really enhance the 3D look.

How long do Nano Brows last?

​​

Nano Brows lasts on average around 24 to 36 months which is longer than microblading.  Again, this depends on lifestyle, skin type and various other factors.

​​

Do Nano Brows hurt?

​

It doesn't hurt as such, it is more a sensation.  

​

VERY IMPORTANT - PRE-Nano Brow treatment rules...

​

1. Do not pick, tweezer, wax, tint or have electrolysis two weeks before treatment

2. Do not use sunbeds, sit in direct sunlight two weeks before treatment

3. Do not have any type of facial or peel two weeks before treatment

4. Stop using any Retinol or Vitamin A one month before treatment

5. Do not exercise on the day of treatment

6. Do not have Botox four weeks before treatment

7. Do not take fish oil or vitamin E one week before treatment (these are natural blood thinners)

8. Do not drink alcohol 24-48 hours before your treatment

9. You will need to be off Accutane (acne medication) for 12 months prior to treatment

10. Do not take Aspirin, Niacin (Vit B3), Vitamin E, Coumadin or Ibuprofen 24-48 hours before your treatment

11. Avoid sun and tanning treatments one week prior to your treatment

12. Discontinue use of Accutane Retin A or any other acne medication at least 6 months prior to the procedure

13. PLEASE NOTE you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle

On the day of treatment..... Do not drink caffeine but have a good breakfast!

VERY IMPORTANT - TWO WEEK POST Nano Brow treatment rules...

​​​

1. Keep the area completely dry - no water whatsoever on the treated area

2. No sweating/exercise

3. Absolutely nothing should be applied to the treated area i.e. no water, no makeup, no lotions, no pencils

4. Avoid scrubbing the treated area at least one month post treatment

5. Avoid sleeping directly on your face

6. Avoid facials, Botox or peels for 4 weeks

Contraindications to Nano Brows

Treatment CANNOT be performed if:

1. You are under 18

2. You have diabetes

3. You are pregnant or breastfeeding

4. You have had epilepsy within the last 2 years

5. You have taken Roacutane within the last 12 months

6. You have taken blood thinners

7. You have Hepititis A, B C, D or HIV

8. You have skin damage

9. You have diseases/disorders of the skin

10. You are undergoing Radiotherapy or Chemotherapy (consult your Doctor)
